Winter is here! It’s time to get outside on XC skis or snowshoes with us. Make your winter the most fun and rejuvenating one you have had in years. Spend time outdoors having awesome winter adventures on snowshoes in the mountains of Kananaskis and the foothills of southern Alberta. Learn to stride and glide across the snow on XC skis or read animals signs while out snowshoeing.

Need to work on your fitness to get you out there? Get up to hiking or XC skiing speed by starting out gently and having fun, inexpensively.
Urban Poling (or Nordic Walking) is a great way to start you fitness adventure or to improve your balance and stability while moving. This low-impact exercise increases your fitness by using 20% more muscles, just by walking with poles. Grow an inch and lose a pound by walking tall and well balanced using Nordic walking poles! Join us for a Spring class.
This is a great activity for Teens, Adults, Seniors, Athletes and recreationists, in other words, people of all ages and abilities!

We offer curriculum based School Programs (School Programs We currently specialize in Grade 7 curriculum based field trips that tie in Science Units A and B. The students learn to find edible and medicinal plants and discover the uses as food and fibre that were used by humans for over 10,000 years. This program explores the human historical relationships with nature over time and how our vision of the landscape has changed from ranching, farming and conquering to recognizing the natural value and potential of the land when we allow it to co-exist, naturally. As we learn about our connection with nature and the role of plants as food, fibre and medicine in our lives and within the ecosystem itself.
