Classroom Programs
Currently Full Circle Adventures offers Classroom instruction for Unit B of the Grade 7 Science Curriculum on Food and Fibre.
Native Plants and Their Cultural Uses – Classroom Fall 2009/Spring 2010
Based in the classroom, this introduction to the historical world view of early Indigenous peoples in Southern Alberta provides an experiential understanding of living in balance with the land. Plant habitats, uses and application as tools and food and fibre will be discussed. Examples are available for students to smell and touch. Included in this session is an option of drinking natural tea steeped with local plants.
Time: 45 to 50 minutes, in classroom instruction
