Four exciting Girlfriend Getaways with Julie and Dames on the Range
Weekend in the Country May 28-30, 2010
Treat yourself to a women's weekend getaway in the country with Full Circle Adventures and Dames on the Range. Full Circle Adventures is offering Wildflower Interpretive Hikes as part of the "Look In!" program package.
This relaxing weekend is filled with exciting options which include a wagon ride, native wildflower garden workshop and a rejuvenating massage.
Spend 2 nights at a working cattle ranch, with home-style meals prepared with local flair and a sprinkling of tradition. End each day with campfire entertainment.
Package starts at $650/person. Optional Day Program on either Saturday or Sunday is also available. Deadline to register: May 18.

Wild Tea Party (Herbal Tea Day)
Join Julie and Dame Jennifer on the historic Oxley Ranch to walk the wild fescue grasslands in the Porcupine Hills, South of Calgary. Learn the plants and their uses as tea for tonics, digestion and all round good health. After this we will head to Dame Jo-Anne's at Herbal Healing Apothecary in Nanton, to sample teas from the same plant species as those you learned about.

Women of the Plains
Join Julie and third generation Rancher Dame Jennifer White of the Oxley Ranch on this journey through time to visit the lives of Women who have lived and died on the Grasslands of southern Alberta. A visit to a Women’s Archeological site is included.

Serious Seed Collection of Edible and Medicinal Plants
Join Dame Arden of Wild About Flowers and Dame Julie of Full Circle Adventures for a unique day of native plant exploration. Learn about the history and uses of our native plants and how you can incorporate them into your life and landscape. This workshop includes a colorful slideshow and interactive discussion followed by a hike in the afternoon where we will identify, discuss and collect seed from many different species of native plants.
