About our School Programs
"We spent a very pleasant day with Julie, exploring the Weaselhead Area. Julie shared a wealth of information with us on the early native people and the plants of the region. We felt the field experience greatly enhanced our science unit on "Plants for Food and Fibre."
Carolyn Armstrong and her Grade 7 Students Calgary Science School
"On a beautiful warm day in October, all our grade 7 students were guided through Wine Glass Ranch and were able to experience the land, the weather, and the living conditions that our First Nations people might have experienced 200 or more years ago. With Julie’s knowledge, and with the collaboration of the Wine Glass Ranch owners, my students had hands on experience determining the value of a plant for medicinal, ceremonial, or decorative purposes. Reverence for the land was emphasized through the respect that was interfused in the lessons. Simple anthropological studies were employed studying a Stoney camping site that was over 200 years old. Old fashioned story telling was warm and tender and touched the heart(s) of our students. In conclusion, our students walked away with more reverence for the land, the animals, the First Nations people who thrived in the area, and respect for both the ranchers and the aboriginals who became good neighbours and continue to be so to this day. This program touched on several aspects of our curriculum and our AISI projects. In fact the Science aspect was so impressive, our Science teacher booked another in class session for our school. Full Circle Adventures is a highly worthwhile program that I would recommend wholeheartedly!"

"Thank you for providing a wonderful tour full of nature and inspiration for my Walk, Talk, Stamp: Printmaking class. The tour was a big hit and the kids got a lot out of it, as did I. Thanks again for taking the time to share nature's beauty with us!"

About Our Slide Show Presentations
"Thank you for your excellent presentation to ACC Calgary. It was a very informative, interesting and engaging talk, a great look at some of the botanical, cultural and historical aspects of the Rockies. It was great hearing your stories about the other creatures that live in the Rockies i.e. your bear imitations."

About Julie
"My hike up Mount Yamnuska with Julie was a wonderful experience. She set a pace which was just perfect for me as it had been some time since I was on a steep hike. It was a relaxed and enjoyable walk up to the summit, frequently stopping to examine plants and birds. Julie's knowledge of herbal properties for most of the plants was impressive."
